The Atlant cargo airship has a unique design due to its automatic ballast system
No other airship design today can do the same:
This means that we can hover like a helicopter
We require no landing strip since we can land vertically

The Atlant has a rigid body meaning we are our own hangar, and we can take up to 1 ½ m of snow on the skin which no other design today is capable of
The lift is made by increasing the Helium and reducing the air inside the Air ship thus becoming lighter than air
Atlant can withstand the snow load up to 100 kg/m2 while stay on ground. In flights the special water repellant film on the surface help us to clean the body by the air stream.
Atlant can hold cross winds up to 15 m/sec with the short time gusts up to 17 m/sec. the total anchors holding capabilities are about 36 ton (Atlant-30). Nevertheless no need to bear such a load – Atlant can be repositioned facing front-to-wind within 5 minutes.
It has been calculated till 1.5 meters, but it is important to land on water in quiet harbors, ports or lagunas. There are some deeper stress analysis has to be done on this issue in order to improve this performance.
It will be weather radar, detecting heavy clouds and thunder storms we need to avoid. The crosswinds or headwinds of more than 15 m/sec will require more power in flight and reduced ground speed, may affect the cargo mission economic parameters
In accordance to the existing certification parameters all the systems shall be design to withstand 15 m/sec vertical speed. For stronger gusts or thermal streams we can briefly activate VTOL devices.
